Nootka Shellfish Products
Canned Smoked Oysters
Our premier product, produced from all natural ingredients.
We have taken the raw oyster and put the wild smoke of ancient forests back into the meaty ocean flesh of the pacific oyster. Tins containing hearty oyster pieces, cut into bite size chunks, saturated with an earthy smoked taste, and processed in their own natural moisture (no added oil). Bite sizes chunks are compatible to use with small crackers, while the salutary taste is complementary to many fine wines.
Fresh Live Single Half Shell Oysters
Fresh, farm grown live raw oysters, filled with the natural taste of Canada's pristine waters. The cold, moist and meaty organic taste of the sea, delights the ambrosia to all.
Grown in cool deep water with shells formed by the advanced technology of tumbling, the deep cup is brimming with the taste of the sea. This tumbling process promotes the growth of quality meat over the natural process of shell structure. The end result is an attractive deep cup shaped shell holding sweet quality oyster meat.
Easily and gracefully handled by the restaurant consumer, while containing an adequate quantity of meat in each shell, these oysters are grown primarily to be eaten raw.
